On this Day - James Bond

1973 - The James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" opened.
It was not received well, and Roger Moor soon discovered that Life imitated art, as multitudes of angry theatergoers attempted to shoot, stab, drown, and electrocute the uninspiring actor.
