On this Day - Santa

1929 - In Beverly, Massachusetts, the first US born reindeer arrived.
For some time after, The Boston zoo continued to try and breed the first US born Santa Clause.

1868: Memorial Day begins when two women place flowers on both Confederate and Union graves.
Shortly after, an argument over whose flowers were nicer ensued, resulting in fisticuffs.
Thus began the great punch up of northern aggression.

1503: The “Treaty of Everlasting Peace” was signed between England and Scotland.
It lasted until the Battle of Flodden, 10 years later, and was then replaced with a “Treaty of Everlasting animosity.”
